Senior Software Engineer, Fullstack (Mining UI)

The Role
As a Senior Fullstack Software Engineer, you will be responsible for developing the mining management UI for the Proto suite of mining rigs. Your primary focus will be on front-end development using React, and Tailwind, while also occasionally contributing to back-end services. You will work closely with the lead designer and server engineers to create a seamless, performant user experience.

You Will

• Lead the development of the mining management UI, utilizing TypeScript, React, and Tailwind CSS to build a modern, scalable interface.
• Collaborate with designers to implement responsive, intuitive, and visually appealing front-end components.
• Integrate animations using Frame Motion, with the option to utilize libraries such as GSAP or Lottie for enhanced user interactions.
• Work with back-end engineers to integrate APIs and ensure smooth data flow between the front-end and back-end systems.
• Occasionally contribute to back-end development, particularly in Rust using the Actix web framework, to support API requirements.
• Ensure performance optimization across both front-end and back-end components.
• Mentor junior developers, participate in code reviews, and contribute to architectural discussions.

You Have

• 5+ years of experience in full-stack development, with a strong focus on React for front-end work.
• Experience with animations and interactive components using vanilla CSS, Frame Motion, GSAP, or Lottie.
• Backend development experience, ideally with Rust and the Actix web framework (or a willingness to learn).
• Familiarity with API design and integration.
• Strong communication skills and experience collaborating with designers and back-end engineers.

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with Tailwind CSS
• Experience with IoT or hardware control interfaces.
• Knowledge of blockchain technologies, particularly as they relate to cryptocurrency mining.
