The Role

We are seeking an experienced Systems Engineer, Oracle Fusion Finance to drive financial transformation within our organization. In this role, you will optimize and elevate finance processes through innovative technology solutions by leveraging your expertise in Oracle Fusion Finance, automation technologies, and integration platforms. 

You will work on projects to reduce accounting close times, automate manual processes, and ensure data integrity across systems. With your strong background in accounting principles, cloud technologies, and system integration, you'll contribute to ongoing enhancements in Oracle systems and identify opportunities for automation and process improvement.

We are looking for a proactive, results-driven individual with a deep understanding of financial accounting processes, cloud technologies, and experience working in an agile environment. You Will

  • Financial Accounting Hub (FAH):
    Leverage deep knowledge of FAH to develop new applications, modify existing ones, and configure them to meet specific business requirements.
  • Finance Accounting Processes & Automation Expertise:
    Possess a strong understanding of Hardware Accounting, Intercompany Accounting, Costing, Inventory Accounting, Revenue, and Corporate Accounting Processes.
    Collaborate with finance teams to optimize and manage these processes within Oracle Fusion Finance, ensuring alignment with business requirements.
    Drive projects to reduce close times by automating manual processes and implementing workflow automation, enhancing efficiency and accuracy within the system.
  • Collaboration with Integration Teams:
    Work closely with the Integrations team, applying technical expertise in MuleSoft and Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) to guide integration strategies and ensure seamless communication between Oracle Fusion Finance and other systems.
  • Documentation & Process Design:
    Create and maintain documentation for existing processes while designing technical and functional documentation for future enhancements.
    Translate business requirements into technical solutions that align with Oracle Fusion Finance.
  • AI Integration & Reconciliation Expertise:
    Stay updated on emerging AI technologies and explore opportunities to implement them within Oracle Fusion Finance to streamline repetitive processes, particularly in reconciliation and data entry.
    Leverage experience in reconciliation processes to ensure accurate financial data between source and destination systems, developing strategies to maintain data consistency and integrity across financial platforms.
  • New Product Launches and M&A Support:
    Support the integration of new products, services, or Mergers & Acquisitions (M&As) into Oracle Fusion Finance, ensuring that the system is fully operational and available to the business as needed.
  • Cloud & Data Warehouse Technologies:
    Utilize strong knowledge of Cloud technologies (AWS, GCP) and SQL to work on reporting solutions, pulling data from Oracle and other data warehouses like Snowflake.
  • Connected Finance Applications:
    Collaborate with teams working on boundary systems such as Oracle EPM, Blackline, Salesforce, Workday, Payroll, and others to ensure smooth integration and data exchange between Oracle Fusion Finance and external systems.

You Have

  • 7+ years of experience with Oracle Fusion Finance and related modules (FAH, AP, AR, GL, Costing, Inventory Accounting, Intercompany Accounting).
  • Proficient in SQL and working with data in Oracle and data warehouses like Snowflake.
  • Experience in understanding of  MuleSoft, Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), and cloud-based integrations.
  • Strong understanding of finance and accounting processes, including reconciliation concepts.
  • Experience collaborating with automation teams to streamline financial processes and improve efficiency.
  • Knowledge of Cloud technologies (AWS, GCP) and their application in financial systems.
  • Familiarity with boundary systems like Oracle EPM, Blackline, Salesforce, Workday, and Payroll, with cross-functional team collaboration.
  • Proven experience in an Agile environment, managing multiple projects effectively.
  • Knowledge of AI technologies and their applications in finance and accounting.
  • Excellent documentation skills for creating clear technical and functional designs.

The successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. These ranges may be modified in the future.
