The Role

Our Japan Marketing team is focused on accelerating business growth by driving high-quality leads and conversions through full-funnel marketing programs. We work closely with global and Japanese stakeholders to execute strategies that resonate with our target audiences. You will focus specifically on performance-driven marketing—owning the execution and optimization of lower-funnel acquisition campaigns.

As a Marketing Demand Generation Specialist, you will focus specifically on performance-driven marketing—owning the execution and optimization of lower-funnel acquisition campaigns that convert. You will support the demand generation function by managing paid media channels, optimizing conversion flows, and ensuring high-quality lead acquisition. You will be deeply involved in the day-to-day execution of campaigns, performance analysis, and continuous improvements. As an individual contributor you will report into the Head of Demand Generation, Japan this can be a hybrid of remote and office working.

You Will

  • Plan, execute, and optimize lower-funnel acquisition campaigns across digital channels (paid search, social, display, etc.)
  • Collaborate with content, creative, and product marketing to develop the local specific assets and messaging aligned with campaign goals
  • Analyze campaign performance data, identify insights, and recommend improvements to increase conversion rates
  • Work with web and CRM teams to improve the full user journey—from ad click to lead capture to qualification
  • Manage external vendors and agency partners to support execution
  • Coordinate A/B tests across ads, landing pages, and audience segments to improve performance

You Have

  • Business-level English and native-level Japanese
  • 4+ years of experience in marketing, with at least 2–3 years focused on performance or demand generation campaigns
  • Proven track record of managing and optimizing paid media (Google Ads, Meta, etc.) for customer acquisition
  • Strong analytical skills; experience working with marketing dashboards, attribution models, or performance reporting tools
  • Hands-on experience with marketing tools such as Google Analytics, HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar platforms
  • A self-starter mindset with strong project management and attention to detail under the autonomous environment

Nice to Have

  • Experience working in a B2B SaaS or tech environment
  • Familiarity with Japan-specific digital channels or media platforms (e.g., LINE, Yahoo! Japan)
  • Understanding of lead scoring, nurturing, and qualification processes
