Block is one company built from many blocks, all united by the same purpose of economic empowerment. The blocks that form our foundational teams — People, Finance, Counsel, Hardware, Information Security, Platform Infrastructure Engineering, and more — provide support and guidance at the corporate level. They work across business groups and around the globe, spanning time zones and disciplines to develop inclusive People policies, forecast finances, give legal counsel, safeguard systems, nurture new initiatives, and more. Every challenge creates possibilities, and we need different perspectives to see them all. Bring yours to Block.
Within Block’s Platform Engineering organization, our Data Platform, managed by the AI and Data Analytics team (AiDA), is designed to unlock the full potential of data by enhancing the productivity and innovation of engineers, data scientists, machine learning experts, and business teams. Our platform enables Block to scale efficiently and adapt swiftly by offering high-performance, secure, and flexible data infrastructure that meets the evolving needs of the company. Our mission is to create scalable, impactful solutions that drive business outcomes and ensure that data-driven strategies are effectively executed company-wide.
We are seeking a driven and experienced Technical Product Manager to lead the next phase of our Data Platform’s evolution. In this role, you will partner with engineering teams, senior leadership, and cross-functional partners to enhance platform capabilities that empower Block’s software engineers, data engineers, and business users. Your focus will be on delivering an end-to-end, user-centric experience, improving workflows across data ingestion, transformation, and analytics. You’ll be responsible for managing a portfolio of products, including data pipelines and orchestration tools, while driving strategic prioritization to meet the evolving needs of the business. This role requires deep collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful, visible solutions that increase productivity, reduce operational complexity, and unlock new opportunities for Block.
