Risk Quality Assurance Specialist

The Role

We are looking for a Quality Assurance Specialist to join the Square Financial Services Risk Quality Assurance Team. You will test transactions against operational procedures and regulatory policies providing feedback and identifying trends. You will work closely with SFS operational teams and Risk management. 

You Will

• Review and test all elements of SFS operational functions to ensure they are aligned with internal practices and regulatory requirements
• Analyze testing results to identify trends and thematic issues relating to operating effectiveness
• Support tracking testing metrics across each function 
• Respond to QA escalations and inquiries
• Contribute to continuous improvement of core processes.

You Have

• 2+ years experience in a quality control or quality assurance role 
• Working knowledge of banking regulations, risk and industry best practices
• Experience presenting and communicating findings to operations teams, leads and important partners
• Experience analyzing data, identifying trends, and recommending strategies to remedy issues
• Familiarity with regulatory guidance related to CIP, UDAAP, Red Flags, Reg E, and AML / CFT 
• Exposure to and working knowledge of payments Fraud and Credit Underwriting practices
