At Block, our purpose is to empower individuals with the tools they need to achieve economic freedom. And part of advancing economic empowerment means championing women’s sports. That's why Cash App’s groundbreaking partnership with the professional women’s basketball team, the Atlanta Dream, is more than just a sponsorship; it’s a collaboration that embodies our shared commitment to financial inclusion and economic empowerment.

At the core of this partnership is a mission to create meaningful community impact in Atlanta; and over the course of the season, Cash App and the Dream will be unveiling a series of programs aimed at fostering equity and empowerment which include:

  • Youth Education and Development Camps : Integrating basketball training with financial education courses, STEM classes and leadership development programs, these camps are designed to inspire young girls to pursue their dreams both on and off the court.
  • Support for Small Businesses : Through the Dream Collective, Cash App is investing in entrepreneurs from under-represented communities, providing resources and eliminating marketing barriers to help small businesses thrive
  • Enhanced Fan Experience : Cash App cardholders will enjoy priority line access to enter the arena, exclusive discounts on merchandise and concessions , as well as unique in-game activations and giveaways, enriching the overall fan experience.

By combining resources and aligning missions, Cash App and the Atlanta Dream are setting a new standard for how sports organizations and financial services can collaborate to drive meaningful change. Together, we're not just supporting a team; we're investing in a movement that seeks to inspire, educate, and empower.

At their home opener, the Dream’s Rhyne Howard guards the Fever’s Caitlin Clark on the historic first-of-it’s-kind corporate-sponsored statement court designed by Esther Wallace in collaboration with Cash App

Stay tuned for more updates on this exciting collaboration and the positive impact it's making in Atlanta and beyond.
